After a monstrously successful Kickstarter campaign, not much info has come out in regard to Shenmue 3 until today. Whilst the news still isn’t good news, it’s better than nothing.
In a new Kickstater update video, developer Ys Net made it clear there will be no Shenmue 3 info at the Sony E3 conference this year.
“While our schedule has yet to be finalized, we will be devoting June to game development and as a result, will unfortunately not be participating in any game shows. On the other hand, we look forward to bringing you our monthly updates and hope you do too!”
At least we can look forward to hearing more information in smaller chunks throughout the year now, and with an HD collection of the first two games rumoured to be coming, we should have plenty to hold us over until the next big reveal.
