Hippos, crocodiles and eagle drones! Microsoft unveiled a new trailer and some gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Origins at their E3 2017 press conference. And it is super impressive!

Featuring a more intense looking combat system, a sleek gear management screen, and a wild first person bow and arrow shot, whose arrow you appear to be able to steer mid-flight.

Four years in the making, the team behind Black Flag have been crafting what they see as a new start for the franchise. Showing off new combat dynamics where you transfer smoothly between melee and ranged combat. The game lets you pick the way you want to act as an assassin by selecting the skills you want.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is set in Egypt and you play as Bayek, the protector of Egypt, who’s story tells the formation of the Assassin’s Brotherhood.

The gameplay trailer shows new RPG style gameplay with different ways to loot and interact with bodies and the environment around you.

The game features horse riding, the standard parkour style movement that the series is known for, along with its stealth aspects. Weapons seem to vary from scythes, swords, throwing knives, bows, and polearms.
