Joining the slew of amazing games announced at this week’s E3 conference is Insurgency: Sandstorm! Designed as a sequel to the highly popular PC-only shooter, Insurgency, Sandstorm is set to improve in many ways upon its predecessor and bring the experience on to console as well (PS4 & Xbox One).
Developer New World Interactive have partnered with publisher Focus Home Interactive, and have poured resources into making Insurgency: Sandstorm a marked improvement on the original Insurgency. Major graphical and technical improvements have been promised, as well as the development of a new eSports framework.
Among the additions to this sequel are a fully-fledged story mode, playable with up to 4-players, as well as light vehicles, character customization, unlockable cosmetic items, fire support requests, ranked matchmaking & more. Check out the trailer below!
