Battle X: Birth of the Alliance announced for VR and PC

Posted on March 15, 2018

Battle X: Birth of the Alliance is a VR-optional first person shooter (FPS) coming to the HTC Vive, Oculus VR, and Windows PC. Developed by Naviworks, the game uses military simulation technology and has been given an April 30th release date.

In addition to 8 v 8 multiplayer, Battle X will also feature a story mode written by Susan O’Conner, writer for acclaimed titles such as Bioshock, the new  Tomb Raider games, and  Far Cry 2. In addition, and perhaps fittingly for a game about the military, the story mode will feature the voice of Casper Van Dien, best known as the lead in the 1998 sci-fi film Starship Troopers

Battle X promises to be a dynamic shooter with systems based on real world weapons, vehicles and gear. The game is designed for VR and will be available for the Oculus VR and the HTC Vive, but can be played without VR on Windows PC.
