World Of Warcraft Arena World Championship ANZ Cup entries open

Posted on April 20, 2018

The World of Warcraft Arena World Championship is back, where teams from across the world can battle it out for grand supremacy. Entries have now opened up for the ANZ Cup where Australian and New Zealand gamers can join in on the action and take on a global stage. Last year we saw the success of many Australian entrants with 3 ANZ teams making the APAC Championship, and Team Rock making it all the way to the global stage at Blizzcon.

With an ANZ prize pool of $6,000US and a final pool of $50k, there are a lot of reasons to want to get in on this year’s competition. With qualifying starting on the 11th of May, you may want to get your practice in sooner rather than later. Unlike last year’s competition, this year’s local cup will feature the four qualifying tournaments to keep it consistent with the North American format.

If this kind of thing sounds up your alley, the tournaments can be signed up for here(11-May), here(25-May), here(15-June) and here(29-June). If watching is more your thing, you can check out the tournaments live on www.twitch.tv/blizzard_ANZ, and further information can be found on the World of Warcraft Arena eSports page.
