Posted on June 10, 2018

We knew that Anthem would be a major focus of EA’s press conference at E3 this year, and they didn’t disappoint, with a cinematic trailer, a deep dive into the gameplay and story, and a firm release date of February 22nd 2019.

Bioware took to the stage to discuss the highly anticipated game, a social, connected Action-RPG with cooperative multiplayer at its heart. “Players can customise an array of powered Javelin exosuits and team up to face a dangerous and ever-changing world through exploration and combat.” Check out the cinematic trailer first below and then get your body ready for the gameplay trailer that follows.

Bioware also outlined the four different types of Javelins or classes, and you can switch between them during play. They are: Ranger, Colossus, Interceptor and Storm. To say that the gameplay they showed was tantalizing to say the least is an understatement. The players look so small in comparison the world, which looked stunning, with some really stunning visual effects and a completely breathtaking atmosphere.
