We knew that Dontnod has been working on a sequel to their super popular narrative game, Life is Strange. It was originally revealed back in May of 2017 thanks to a video message sent out from the development team. Now we know when that sequel is releasing, with the first episode coming September 27th, 2018!
Episode 1 of #LifeisStrange2 will release on September 27th 2018.

The release date reveal is surprising given that E3 only recently took place and publishers love giving big reveals at these events. This should be especially true for Life is Strange’s publisher Square Enix who had a rather lacklustre E3 to say the least.
It’s also not the only Dontnod game that is releasing soon. The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit was announced during E3 and is releasing in just a few days on June 26th! The game is set in the Life is Strange universe and will be released completely for free.
As for now we don’t know too much about Life is Strange 2, but stay tuned because more details are arriving in August.
