Unite to fight; Jump Force supercut trailer released

Posted on July 29, 2018

To say that I’m excited about the arrival of Jump Force in 2019, is something of an understatement, considering that several of my favourite manga heroes and villains will be available to play in a single game.

Announced at E3 and showing off a few of the old favorites, including Goku, Luffy, and Naruto, it stood to reason that as time went on more characters and footage would be revealed. The recently released supercut trailer didn’t disappoint with additional fighters Sasuke Uchiha, Roronoa Zoro, and Frieza joining in the action.

Just watching Zoro and Sasuke going head to head using their respective fighting styles was enough to make me squeal with delight! Gameplay, within the Jump Force trailer, looks reminiscent of the Naruto Ninja Storm games that have been released in the past.

However it looks to go above and beyond  with larger scale moves, expanded stages and even interactive field hazards. Add on top of this a number of varying battle styles depending on the playable characters, and it’s by far one of Bandai Namco’s most hyped upcoming games.

The trailer shows off its seamless transition from one team member to another as brutal combo attacks are laid out at high speeds. As well as several characters signature ultimate attacks including Naruto’s Tailed Beast Bomb, and Frieza’s Death Ball.

The graphics are also looking quite stunning and while connecting attacks may seem a bit ‘flashy’, we’re hopeful they wont cause too much of a distraction from the action.

Jump Force

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Jump Magazine, Jump Force will certainly be a game that fans all around the world will be eagerly awaiting. The fact they’ve got 50 years of characters to choose from will be a daunting task. I’m sure, however, that the developers at Spike Chunsoft will be up to the task of providing gamers with a fantastic product, considering their extensive anime gaming portfolio.

Jump Force is slated for a 2019 release onto the PlayStation 4 Xbox One, and PC, with no set date yet made available.
