Red Dead Redemption 2 has been delayed to 2018

Posted on May 23, 2017

Some of the worst news a gamer can wake up to – Red Dead Redemption 2 has been delayed.

Ever since its debut trailer back in October 2016, the hype for this game has been intense. Rockstar will most certainly be disappointing the Red Dead fans after announcing they won’t be able to make their 2017 goal.

The news comes direct from Rockstar’s website where they apologise to fans:

“We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready.”

Whilst the news is disappointing, Rockstar hasn’t left us completely empty-handed because they have also released some images of their upcoming game – and they look pretty badass.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was originally meant to be released Fall 2017 (Spring 2017 for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere), however it has now been pushed back to Spring 2018 (Autumn 2018 for S.H.). Rockstar have also advised that more details on the game will be revealed towards the end of this year.
