Our top pick of the week?
Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season
14/08/18
While WoW definitely deserves praise for the juggernaut that it is, it can’t be denied that the game feel impenetrable. The Walking Dead however is the kind of game that casual and hardcore fans alike can relish in as it focuses more on story then on intricate gameplay.
While the TV show has become a shambling corpse of what it used to be the Telltale series has done a wonderful job of showing restraint but also creating character we genuinely care about. Clementine is an iconic character of the modern gaming era, especially when it comes to narrative games. All we can hope is that for once, a beloved character can find their happy ending somewhere in the apocalypse.
