Temtem
21/01/2020
I won’t lie to you, this isn’t the most exciting week for video game releases. However there is one colourful and intriguing game releasing into Early Access that may catch your attention. Temtem is what you’d get if you turned Pokémon into an MMORPG. The game isn’t shying away from that comparison either. It knows exactly where its inspiration comes from and it’s doing a pretty damn good job following in these gigantic footsteps.
For better or for worse, Temtem is a Pokémon clone. But it’s also trying to bring the typically solo catching and battling experience into a larger, online world. If you’re a fan of the Pokémon series, like me, then that premise alone should be enough to spark your interest. Will it be able to hold up against its massive competition? Only time will tell.

Don’t forget last week’s Coming Out to make sure you didn’t miss anything.
