DIRT 5

DIRT has become an absolute staple of racing games. This off-road racing franchise has solidified itself amongst some of the best with a good following of fans to boot. Not aiming for hyperrealism or simulation style racing, the DIRT series is able to have a bit of fun without becoming cartoonish or silly. It’s a great middleground for racing enthusiasts who can enjoy the thrill of real vehicles without getting caught up in the super serious specifics.

With some great tunes, fun tracks and a healthy online multiplayer element, I can easily see DIRT 5 being a fun distraction that’ll keep me occupied for days. The game is boasting to have multiple game modes on launch including player made tracks which is always fun. With a free upgrade to next gen consoles as well, DIRT 5 seems like a winner.
