“Jupiter Hell is a classic, turn-based roguelike set in a 90s flavored sci-fi universe. Set on the moons of Jupiter, the game pits a lone space marine against overwhelming demonic forces. Rip and tear zombies, demons and unmentionable monstrosities, using classic weaponry such as shotguns, chainguns, railguns and the trusty chainsaw. All to the shine of CRT monitors and the tune of heavy metal!”
Genre: Adventure / Shooter
Platforms: PS4, PS5, Switch
“Soar through the skies aboard a majestic warbird, explore a stunning oceanic world and engage in epic aerial dogfights, in this BAFTA nominated air combat game from solo developer, Tomas Sala.
You take on the role of Falconeer, a powerful airborne warrior traversing a vast oceanic world torn apart by generations of poisonous decisions and dissent. Throughout multiple campaigns, you will experience life from many different perspectives and loyalties as you embark on a journey of discovery, and solve the mystery of the Ursee, its people and history.”
This kind of game has had a popular resurgence since games like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing have taken their spaces in the mainstream. Something relaxing and wholesome we can pickup for a time and enjoy at our own pace. We all love moments like this, and Haven Park looks like a perfect little retreat for our busy lives!
