A potential new IP is on the way for Ubisoft, as they have filed the curious 1666 trademark yesterday.
Back in 2013 when THQ dissolved, they acquired the rights of Assassins Creed creator Patrice Desilet’s “Project 1666”, but nothing was revealed or really known about the project at all or what it would entail.
Rumors are circulating regarding what it could be about, and some people have linked it to the Great Fire of London, a major disaster in history where 70,000 homes were destroyed.
