Finally, it’s happened guys… Gears of War 4 will be releasing worldwide on October 11th, according to Microsoft.
The cover art for the hotly anticipated title was also revealed by Entertainment Weekly, which can be seen below.
Gears of War 4 is set 25 years after the events in Gears of War 3, and features JD (Marcus Fenix’s son) and his squad, and takes place over the course of ‘one night in the woods’.
For those who purchased Gears of War: Ultimate Edition last year, the beta for Gears of War 4 will kick off on April 18th, with all Xbox Live GOLD members able to jump in and give it a crack on April 25th, right up until May 1st. We’re super excited to give it a go – how about you?
