The next installment of hit turn-based strategy game Sid Meier’s Civilization has a confirmed landing date of October 21st 2016.
True to format, Civilization VI will allow you to play as the leader of a conquering civilization from the Stone Age all the way to the information Age.
Early screenshots seem to suggest that things will broadly take off from where Civilization V ended: probably a good move, considering that it sold over 8 million units over its lifespan.
Despite this, 2K Games alongside developer Firaxis have promised that there will be plenty of newness for long-time fans, such as physically expanding cities on the map, active research and culture, and world leaders who pursue their own agendas based on historical traits.
