Deus Ex: The Mechanical Apartheid – New live action trailer today

Square Enix has just released a new  trailer for their upcoming title Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

The new trailer available on Youtube depicts the world of Deus Ex as the occurrence of cyber augmentation fractures humanity, but the most curious thing about the trailer is it’s almost entirely live action.

The emotionally charged trailer I actually found quite hard to watch. It presses up against core human issues of fear and segregation of minorities that are very real, even in our current day and age. While I’m not particularly a fan of live action trailers for videogames ( I mean, you’re showing zero gameplay, c’mon), the short is quite excellent.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will launch on August 23^rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
