Released today was a teaser trailer for atmospheric, first person, horror game Scorn, set to release in 2017.
The video is all sorts of creepy and gross but I have to admit it gets me excited for this games future. After a rocky start that involved Scorn not acquiring enough funding through their Kickstarter campaign, the developers are back in action thanks to a private investor who was willing to fund the project. The game is described as “an atmospheric first person horror adventure game set in a nightmarish universe of odd forms and somber tapestry.” Throughout the game you explore different, non-linear regions, acquire varying skill sets and weapons and attempt to comprehend the sights presented to you.
It is said to feature limited ammunition and inventory, no HUD and no cut-scenes for the most immersive and potentially horrific experience possible.
