The Witcher fans everywhere were thrilled to learn that their favourite in-game card game, Gwent, will be released as a full separate title for Xbox One and PC.
As a completely optional side-quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, you’d be forgiven for not even knowing what Gwent was or why it was important. For those who have played the simple-to-learn but difficult-to-master card game while exploring the lands, they will be the first to tell you that this ‘passion project’ for CD Projekt Red is going to be awesome, and you’re really just completely blessed in being able to experience it at all!

No official release date has been given for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game yet, but the closed beta will be taking place in September, which you can sign up for here.
