A neat one for all you lovers of Hip-Hop;  RZA, the leader of the massive hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan and legendary producer is making a solo album with all of his songs based off of soundtrack from the Atari back catalog!

RZA is widely regarded as a pioneer in the music industry, especially when talking about his achievements in the Hip-Hop genres, leading one of the most influential groups Hip-Hop has ever known.  And then we have Atari… who are the definition of pioneers when it come to video games!

RZA  is an avid video game enthusiast ,especially when it comes to retro games and has even provided voice acting for Atari title “Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure” in 2006. So this is the second time he has worked with the gaming legends at Atari.  “I’m so excited to work on these iconic games to deliver what I believe will be one of my best albums” states RZA. He has also said that he is going to invite some of his close friends (hoping for lots of Wu-Tang cameos) to come in and help on the record.

I for one am excited to see what comes from this genius, and the film clips will hopefully be a bit of fun too. Maybe the Album could be titled RZTARI? Okay, that was terrible.
