As a direct follow up to South Park: The Stick of Truth, Ubisoft has been working alongside South Park writers Trey Parker and Matt Stone to create and showcase the newest game in the franchise South Park: The Fractured but Whole.
For those who didn’t get to play the original, South Park: The Stick of Truth was a fantasy set, turn based RPG with full South Park writing and voice acting. It was actually surprisingly funny and really felt like it lived up to the humour of the show. The new game sees the return of player character ‘new kid’ fresh from his previous victory but unprepared for the new imaginary setting he finds himself in, superheroes.
At Ubisoft’s E3 press conference we got to see some of the games classic humour as well as some gameplay elements that sees the game shifting to a more ’tile-based’ combat system. Check out the entire showcase below!
South Park: The Fractured but Whole is set to release December 6th and for those who pre-purchase the game you will also be able to snag yourself a copy of The Stick of Truth for free right now!
