State of Decay 2 announced

Some great news from the Microsoft press conference earlier today, as State of Decay 2 was officially announced for release in 2017.

The original State of Decay was released on the Xbox 360, then re-released on the Xbox One with additional content a couple of years later. While it may look like ‘just another zombie game’, the cool thing about State of Decay is that it focuses on the day-to-day surviving in a world filled with the walking dead, rather than just chucking you into a linear campaign. You have to build a base, find other survivors, search for food and other supplies and just generally do the best you can to  just live.

It’s also been revealed that State of Decay 2 will have 4 player co-op, so you don’t have to survive alone!

One of the biggest criticisms of the original was the graphics, which were very choppy and rough at the best of times, but that definitely doesn’t look like an issue here at all! Check out the trailer below to have a look.
