Fallout 4 Mods on PS4 hit with issues and delays

Posted on July 3, 2016

Disheartening news for some console players out there rang out recently when a tweet from Developer Bethesda Game Studios confirmed that their will be delays on Fallout  4 Mods that were supposed to be released this month.

Bethesda Tweet

“We regret to say that the PS4 Mods Beta for Fallout 4 has been delayed. We will update everyone when we can.” the developer announced. The tweet itself got a lot of notice in a short amount of time, having only come out on the 30th June, and has a mixed range of responses from cool and collected to angry and  hurt. With no date mentioned for an update this will understandably have PS4 users taking a backseat while Mods go ahead on Xbox One, which have been since up and running since May. But this doesn’t make it any less irritating for those who have been waiting for the release this month.

The best takeaway from this is that Bethesda Game Studios is really putting their all into making Mods work on a console platform. With the added benefit of most any Mod becoming available to console players, there will surely be enough to satisfy players when they get the chance to try them out.

What do you think about Mods on console? What Mods do you want to try?
