At Gamescom 2016 Ubisoft have unveiled the second huge expansion for online racing game The Crew: Calling All Units. This is impressive, to say the least. Despite fairly average reviews The Crew received upon it’s release, Ubisoft are sticking to their guns! And this time around they’ve given it a bit of a Need For Speed vibe. Introducing a new playable faction, the cops, in a new online mode: Cops Vs Racers.
Players will have access to the whole American map for the mode, where they can wait in the shadows or hide in plain sight for street racers to speed past and start their pursuit! It’s able to trigger new pursuits anywhere, and if you catch them, then new cars, parts and XP wait for you to enjoy!
In addition, solo players will enjoy 12 new story based missions where you can create your own cop and tricked out cop car. The level cap has also been raised from 50 to 60.
The Crew: Calling All Units is out November 29 on PS4 ,Xbox One and PC, alongside The Crew: Ultimate Edition, which includes the base game and both expansion packs.
Is this new addition enough to fix your heartbreak over The Crew? or are you still playing? let us know!
