Do you remember when Divinity: Original Sin was released in 2014? Did you play it? If not then you honestly missed out on a seriously special release. The game was a strategic, turn-based RPG that had some of the best gameplay in recent memory. It could be played single-player or cooperatively and offered an amazingly intricate and clever combat system. The game wasn’t without its flaws though, including a less than stellar story to accompany the fantastic gameplay. What I do remember continuously thinking though, is that I hope they make a second game to fix the small handful of issues that I had with it; and look what we have here.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 has been announced for a while, but we now have an actual release date of September 15 (Yay!), although it is an Early Access release date (Aww). But at least we are getting something (Yay!). Check out the Early Access announcement trailer and then join me in giddy school-girl levels of excitement.
