Gamescom is continuing to bring the goods, this time with some unedited gameplay footage of the upcoming Mount & Blade game. From the defenders perspective we get to see a full siege battle at the fortification gate and I’ve got to say, Mount & Blade 2 is looking really shmick when compared to its predecessor.
A tactical view, friendly and non-friendly catapult and arrow fire, AI commands, ladder raising, battering rams, rock throwing and much more make the siege an eventful, tactical and fun looking experience. With the addition and improvement of destructible terrain and end of siege stat screen, I can see a lot of Mount & Blade fans getting excited for this one.
The game is set to release for PC but currently has no release date confirmed, so look out for more news regarding this title in the (hopefully) near future.
