It’s time to forget the Olympics because indie developer and publisher, Psyonix, has teamed up with Twitch to bring you the Rocket League Championship Series!
Day 2 of the series begins at 10am PDT (3am EST for all of you playing along at home). The Grand Final itself is due to begin at 9am. So get your boss on the phone and start telling them about that scratchy cough that you’ve picked up, because you are not going to work today.
The series brings together the best eight Rocket League teams from Europe and North America and pits them against one another to win the $55,000 USD prize pool. Teams are as follows:
North America
- Exodus
- Genesis
- iBuyPower Cosmic
- Kings of Urban
Europe
- Flipsid3 Tactics
- The Flying Dutchmen
- Mock-it eSports EU
- Northern Gaming
Apparently Psyonix are also going to be making an exciting announcement of some kind (new game??), so we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for that.
