Titanfall 2 open tech test on now!

If you’re eager to play some Titanfall 2 multiplayer before the game launches in late October, now’s your chance.

The techincal test started this morning at 2am and is running for two days, with another one to follow next weekend. The Tech Test is specifically designed to stress-test the multiplayer servers Respawn is using for Titanfall 2. Essentially guys, it’s an open beta!

You’ll be able to test out new mechanics such as the grappling hook along with two of the new Titan’s that will be on offer; there is also a new game mode on show called Bounty Hunt, where you earn dollars from taking down the enemy AI and your opponents which must be banked after each wave of foes to maximise your team score and ultimately win the game.

Essentially just go to the store on either your PS4 (14gb) or Xbox One (17gb) and give it a download – easy! For more information on the tech test, go here.

Titanfall 2 is scheduled for release on October 28th, complete with single player campaign – and after playing a few rounds of multiplayer this morning, we couldn’t be more excited about it!
