Surprisingly enough a previously unknown and un-leaked PS4 slim model has appeared for sale in the UK this week.
The console pictured appears to be official Sony stock of an unreleased PS4; a slim model that they may or may not be announcing at their upcoming event, which will be held on September 7.
The seller has provided us with quite a great collection of images of the system. The whole device appears to have been reduced slightly, the faceplate and light bar have been removed, which I myself find odd as they seemed quite essential to the PS4’s design language, and the corners rounded. The console is available with a 500GB HDD.
A leak like this is always quite unexpected, even more so that this is the first we’ve seen of it.
