Dust off your lancers and get ready for Horde 3.0. Ahead of PAX later this weekend, Xbox and developer The Coalition have revealed details about Gears of War 4‘s Horde Mode.
Dubbed ‘Horde 3.0’, this new version will add features like character classes and the ability to build defences , IGN has revealed.
This mode will also allow players to use ‘Gear Cards’ . This lets players add bonuses to their characters, such as improving the damage of specific weapons carrying more ammunition.
In an added twist,music publication Pitchfork have revealed that Atalanta based Hip Hop duo Run The Jewels will be playable characters. Run The Jewels (AKA Killer Mike and El-P ) wrote the song for the new trailer, and the previously seen multiplayer beta trailer, and will now be playable characters in the new Horde 3.0 Mode.
