2KSports have announced that for the first time ever you can begin your NBA MyCareer Journey before NBA 2K17 is launched on September 20 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. 2K are calling this “The Prelude” and the great news is that it’s free to download on the platforms mentioned. “The Prelude” has been designed to give fans an introduction to, arguably, the franchises funnest game mode MyCAREER, which places you in the Jordan’s of a promising rookie getting drafted into the NBA and playing through their rookie years.
Alongside “The Prelude” 2K have also launched MyNBA2K17, the mobile companion app which lets you connect and check in on your teams in NBA 2K17 wherever you are. The app also has face scanning technology which allows you to import your likeness into the game to use in your player creation.
