Pokémon GO headed to a wrist near you

As well as Pokémon GO’s Pokémon GO Plus wrist band accessory, the super popular game will be making its way to our wrists on a plethora of smart watches too.

Announced during Apple’s iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 2 unveiling, Pokémon GO will be making its way to watchOS on the Apple Watch. Exciting news for our Apple Pokémon Trainers out there; soon they’ll be able to track and stalk their Poké-prey right from their wrist!

But it’s not all doom and gloom for AndroidWear users, as a recent data rip into the Pokémon GO APK (tech-speak for ‘within the code of the game’) has sourced mentions of AndroidWear compatibility too, so we should see this coming to these watches sometime around or after Pokémon GO is available for the Apple Watch. Those cursed exclusives, am I right!?

Unfortunately, dates are a bit vague with Apple only stating “before years end”, but don’t fret, you’ll have the Poké-gear you’ve always dreamed off before you know it!
