Here’s another one for all you Titanfall 2 fanatics out there. As the sweats kick in and you begin to feel the grip of withdrawal from the on and off nature of the open multiplayer technical test; As you stare wantonly at your custom made, Titanfall 2 calendar, desperately willing time to fast-forward until the games release on October 28; As your fingers tremb… actually this is getting silly, why not just watch the latest official trailer for the game instead? Meet the Titans.
Titanfall 2 is looking to introduce six new Titans to its line-up this time around, each with their own unique abilities to bring the battlefield. The new Titans include: Scorch, Ion, Legion, Northstar, Tone & Ronin. The game is also looking to shake things up with the Titan formula, at least according to the current direction of the multiplayer technical test. Obtaining Titans is now based more on skill than time, with kill streaks leading to rewards of Titanic proportions (which will probably lead to more skill streaks). Titans (and pilots) are also no longer as customisable and are instead set to specific load-outs.
What do you think of the game’s new direction? Do you like the way the it’s progressing? Either way, keep an eye out for our upcoming feature that will attempt to dismantle Titanfall 2, examining it part by glorious part.
