Danganronpa 1+2 Reload is headed to PlayStation 4 in early 2017 as both a retail and digital release, and will include Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair.
So far Danganronpa has only been available on the PS Vita handheld. This has meant PS4 owners felt like they were always going to be missing out on something special; a unique experience with the quirkiest characters and some of the greatest storytelling of our time. But with this news it means they will finally get to experience these incredible games.
Alongside the retail and digital release NIS will also release a physical Limited Edition, pictured below, which will include:
- both games
- 40-page hardcover art book
- Collector’s edition outer box
- Monokuma sticker
- Gold Danganronpa coin
- Two-disc soundtrack
- Monokuma sunglasses .
In other Danganronpa news, Spike Chunsoft announced at Tokyo Game show last month that Danganronpa 3 will launch for both PS4 and PS Vita in Japan next year and will feature the first female protagonist of the series! No news yet on a Western release date but we really can’t wait to find out more.
