Bethesda has once again raised the game with another live-action trailer to get audiences hyped for the release of Dishonored 2. Last year Bethesda blew us all away with the live action trailer for Fallout 4 and Doom, this year is Dishonored 2‘s turn.
Revenge is one of the biggest driving forces behind both Dishonored and Dishonored 2‘s story, with the main characters having to crawl their way back up to the top after losing everything. Here we see just how far Emily, the kidnapped princess and daughter of Corvo from the first game, will go to reclaim her mother’s kingdom and take back what is rightfully hers.
In this short clip, entitled “Take Back What’s Yours”, Bethesda attempts to show us the feelings and characters behind the game and not the gameplay itself. While this live action trailer shows off some kick ass combat it is not quite representative of what the final game plays like. The action sequence and high resolution don’t fully represent Dishonored 2 but many of the pieces do – the clockwork robots, dark superpowers and assassin masks all feel like the original Dishonored.
Dishonored 2 will be released on November 11 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
