Heroes Evolved is a new MOBA title by R2Games that bears more than a similar appearance to titles such as League of Legends. Taking up approximately 35mb of hard drive space, LoL’s little brother has the potential to be popular to those with limited computing power, with the game setup literally taking under a minute from download to game launch. The download itself takes as little as three seconds, even with Australia’s inferior internet speeds.
From open phase beta testing that only just started last month on the 9th of September , Heroes Evolved has been working hard to gain a foothold in the ever popular and competitive free-to-play MOBA genre. R2Games are certainly taking on board beta tester comments, with constant updates and new game play features continuously added (that fortunately only take a few seconds to download and implement).
In a rather bold and encouragingly ambitious move for such a new game, HE has announced an American tournament (although teams from anywhere in the world can take part) with the champion team winning an all-expense paid trip to China to meet the developers and compete against the Chinese champions, for a chance to win $60,000 USD.
For those who haven’t had a chance to play HE, there is still time to hone your Pantakill skills (no, not a typo). You can register a team from the 19th to 31st of October 2016 with the first round of matches commencing on the 28th of October, leading to the finals in China in mid-December 2016.
