For the entire spooky month of October, first-person horror game Outlast 2 will have a free demo available for gamers to play and enjoy. Following in the footsteps of PT and Resident Evil 7, the demo will be an example of what to expect from the titles full release.
Announced through a press release “the Outlast 2 demo provides a sneak peek at what Red Barrels have been working on for the last few years” and “more features and environments will be unveiled in the coming months.”
The demo will have you playing as cameraman Blake Langermann, as he and his wife investigate the murder of a pregnant woman. The investigation takes you deep into the Arizona desert where there is “a darkness so deep that no one could shed light upon it, and a corruption so profound that going mad may be the only sane thing to do.”
Available now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One the demo will be downloadable up until November 1st.
