Volcanion blasts onto the scene this October!

Things are heating up this month with another Pokémon distribution event being held this October, for Pokémon’s first Water/Fire type. The steam Pokémon: Volcanion. From October 10 to October 31 Volcanion will be available from any participating Australian and New Zealand EB Games store with a code provided by staff.

For those unfamiliar with this new legendary Pokémon, Volcanion is said to be able to mix both fire and water within its body to create powerful steam blasts, with enough destructive power to blow away mountains, and literally change the shape of the land around it.

The Volcanion distributed will be met at level 70 and possesses four moves; Flamethrower, Hydro Pump, Explosion, and a unique move known only to Volcanion called Steam Eruption, a Water type move that may leave the intended target with a burn status debuff. Its ability, “Water Absorb”, is also a tricky ability that will render all Water type attacks cast at it useless and will in fact heal this Pokémon up to ¼ of its original health.

Players will be able to transfer Volcanion to their game in Pokémon  X, Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire with the code provided and entered in at the beginning menu of your chosen game. This distribution will be limited to one code per person and is available only while stocks last, so make sure you get in early to avoid missing out.
