Additionally they will also be available for download on iOS devices vis its App Store and Google Play for compatible Android-based devices. This pretty much means you have no excuse to not pick up the game.

For those who are looking to acquire a physical copy, you’ll need to wait till February 2017 when a special ‘Season Pass Disc’ is released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which includes the premier episode for the third season, as well as access to all upcoming episodes in season five as they become available.

Steam users can pre-order the season by visiting the product page on Steam, with a savings of 10% for pre-ordering, an offer that is available until the 21st of December.

The story excerpt for A New Frontier can also be found on the Steam website:

When family is all you have left… how far will you go to protect it? Four years after society was ripped apart by undead hands, pockets of civilization emerge from the chaos. But at what cost? Can the living be trusted on this new frontier? As Javier, a young man determined to find the family taken from him, you meet a young girl who has experienced her own unimaginable loss. Her name is Clementine, and your fates are bound together in a story where every choice you make could be your last.”

For those who simply can’t wait until mid-December, a special extended first look at the premiere episode will be revealed live on stage at The Game Awards on Thursday December 1st.
