Some fresh news has wiggled its way out of Japan that will bring glee to Dynasty Warriors fans all around the globe. The announcement of Dynasty Warriors 9 has graced our news feeds after developers Koei Tecmo and Omega Force revealed their development plans over Japanese broadcast.
As of now not too much information has been revealed although we do know the developers intend to treat their upcoming game as somewhat of a revival of the series. Dynasty Warriors 9 will be set on mainland China and will be the first in the franchise to feature a fully open-world. A teaser trailer has also been revealed for those who want a glimpse of things to come.
As of right now we don’t know when the game is intended to be released, only that it is currently in development. We also haven’t had any confirmation on the platforms it will be coming to although the PlayStation 4 seems like a fairly safe bet.
