Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (try saying that five times fast) is creeping up on us fast and Square Enix have just dropped their final trailer for the game. Accompanied alongside Utada’s Ray of Hope Re-mix title track Simple and Clean, the trailer is beautifully rendered and looks stunning.
The gameplay throughout looks simply gorgeous, as Aqua battles hordes of heartless, accompanied by King Mickey who looks badass as well. I can’t express how pleased I am to see more game play and tidbits of story laced within the trailer, covering all three parts to be seen on the release. 0.2 A Fragmentary Passage, Aqua’s story, in particular I am most excited for as it will feature gameplay and graphics on the PlayStation 4 console, that will inevitably foreshadow the quality of Kingdom Hearts III, at least from a visual perspective.
Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue consists of three parts; the remastered Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, Kingdom Hearts χ [chi] Back Cover, and Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep – A fragmentary passage – and is due for worldwide release on the 24th of January 2017, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
