After a warm and, well, gushing rhapsody on Hideo Kojima, the acclaimed game developer took to the stage to thank his fans and provide us with an ‘early present’, The latest Death Stranding teaser trailer.
So without further ado:
Unfortunately we still don’t see any actual gameplay footage, and with a release date currently slated for 2018, it’s unlikely we will any time soon.
What we do get however is a new glimpse into the world of Death Stranding, which appears to show a world at war and a tank covered in giant leeches? We also got a glimpse at the game’s antagonist, the much rumoured Mads Mikkelsen of Hannibal and Rogue One fame, who is also serving some tentacle-porn realness. The baby, this time seen in a kind of incubation pod is also featured, and is likely to be the motivating drive of the game’s campaign, in what i suspect is a ‘humanity’s last hope’ motif.
Are you excited for Death Stranding? Or fear that this will be much ado about nothing upon it’s eventual release?
