As of today, new Pokémon are going to be available in Pokémon GO for those lucky egg-hatchers out there!
According to Niantic’s blog, Pichu and Togepi will be hatching in eggs that you find in the game, along with “several other Pokémon that were originally discovered in the Johto Region in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver video games”. The blog post also says that these are the first of many new Pokémon to be added over the coming months.
On top of that, a limited edition Pikachu will be populating the world until December 29th. These Pikachu will be wearing “a festive hat” to celebrate the Holiday season.
