Pokémon Sun & Moon’s first Mythical Pokémon

Pokémon Sun and Moon’s first mythical Pokémon giveaway is live!

For those keen trainers out there who have already completed their island challenge then Nintendo have some exciting news for you. The very first mythical Pokémon is available now for you to download via the games built in QR code feature. If you happen to be new to all this Pokémon hype and wonder why your friend next you is screaming with excitement right now, it’s because this means a ‘new’ legendary Pokémon is available to download. Magearna, is a steel/fairy type, and will make its debut in Pokémon Sun and Moon. The QR code that will reward players with Magearna can be found in the image below.

To get Magearna in your Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game:

• Complete the main story
• Choose the QR Scanner function
• Line up the QR code for Magearna while pressing the R Button
• Visit the deliveryman at the Antiquities of the Ages shop in Hau’oli City to get Magearna
• Be sure to save your game!

Magearna is Level 50, has the Soul-Heart ability and holds the item Silver Bottle Cap. It’s moves are:

• Flash Cannon
• Fleur Cannon
• Lucky Chant
• Helping Hand

As a reminder, the special Munchlax and Snorlium-Z can be still be received in Pokémon Sun & Moon by using the Mystery Gift function in the main menu if you havent done so already. Munchlax and Snorlium-Z will continue to be available until the 11th January 2017.

And lastly in other Pokémon news, the final legendary Pokémon of the year for the 20th Anniversary Celebrations is available to download via the mystery gift feature in the menu on games ORAS and XY. For those who have been collecting throughout the year its been an amazing time to finally get your hands on some truly legendary Pokémon. Meloetta is available now and will run through until the 24th of December.
