A new Yooka-Laylee trailer has been released by Playtonic Games that not only shows off a new Casino level but also reveals the Game’s release date – April 11th, 2017.
With 2017 quickly approaching, eager gamers can add this one to their calendars in preparation for its arrival on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Linux and Mac. Check out the trailer and see the Casino for yourself.
In further news the Playtonic Team have also has also announced the cancellation of a Wii U version for their game and are instead working with Nintendo to bring the game to Nintendo Switch. This news comes from a recently updated FAQ on Playtonic’s webpage which also states that Kickstarter backers who selected Wii U as their preferred platform “can move their pledge free-of-charge to any of the versions launching on April 11th (PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac or Linux) or upgrade to the Nintendo Switch version when we announce further details in 2017.”
A tweet from Playtonic also states that you can “Pre-order on consoles or PC now to instantly unlock the Toybox demo” which was previously only available to Kickstarter backers. Is the nostalgia hitting you as hard as it’s hitting me?
