Square Enix has released some pretty epic news with the announcement of the Moogle Chocobo Carnival coming to Final Fantasy XV.
The official Final Fantasy XV Twitter account has said that the event will be released on the 24th of January, 2017 and will be hosted in the Italian inspired city of Altissia. We are not certain what the event will involve but I predict that there will be balloons (lots and lots of balloons), I’m also feeling side quests, hunts, mini-games and items.
So if you haven’t already now may be the time to either pick up the season pass or the holiday pass so you can gain a ticket to this potentially amazing event, which will be available for a limited time only.
Two separate pieces of clothing will be made available for players depending on which pass they hold. If you have access to the free Holiday Pack you will receive a Choco-Mog Tee, otherwise if you possess the Season Pass or Premium Edition you will have access to the fiesta inspired outfit, both fit for wearing to the special occasion, sassy to the max!
It’s suspected that the carnival may only be available if you have unlocked the city of Altissia, which becomes available after Chapter 9. Although with no official word on the subject, that is merely speculation. Just to avoid future complications it may be a good idea to get yourself beyond that point of the game. Some more prepping advice to help avoid even more stress would be to update to the latest 1.03 patch, just in case you run into compatibility problems and have to wait 4 or so hours for a 10gb patch to download. I know we don’t want that happening to us on day one of the carnival, so run that wagon now folks to avoid going bald.
