A new gameplay trailer reveals Black Canary as the latest addition to the upcoming Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment release, Injustice 2. Gear up Injustice players, Black Canary isn’t pulling any punches in this gorgeous reveal trailer.
From what is shown, it would appear that Black Canary will be a close up melee fighters dream. Her battle technique seems to be swift and without mercy, so players who rely on the larger characters with less agility are going to find themselves on the defensive. That being said, it would also appear that Black Canary can use a few mid-range screech attacks, so don’t get complacent and think distance will spare you damage. The battle trailer aside, it looks like field hazards and stage transitions are back and will be most beneficial to those who are aware of their surroundings.
The more I see of Injustice 2’s gameplay and character drops the more psyched I get, this really feels like DC are putting some serious effort into producing an exemplary sequel for players to lap up. Injustice 2 is set for release on the 17th of May for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and is already available for pre-order, with bonus content available that includes Darkseid as a playable fighter and additional character skins.
