Early adopters of the Nintendo Switch will get the opportunity to play a bit of the anticipated sequel to the messy shooter Splatoon; Splatoon 2. In a “Global Testfire” that Nintendo are running on the 25th and the 26th of March.
Splatoon Producer Hisashi Nogami spilled the ink on the project at the Tokaigi Game Party in Japan over the week “Two years have passed since the original Splatoon and since then, the weapons, maps and characters in that world have evolved. Through the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire event this March, players will be able to get a taste of that. There will be more new features to Splatoon 2, so please look forward to more reveals in the future.”
The demo will run 6 sessions over the two days and will give players the chance to test out four different weapons, including the new Splat Duallies, as well as new remixed versions of the iconic Splat Roller and Splat Charger.

The Splatoon 2 Global Testfire event will run from March 25th – 26th. The full Splatoon 2 game is set to hit Nintendo Switch later this year.
