Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have revealed a new trailer focusing on Superman’s character and background story for Injustice 2. Players will get the chance to learn more about how Superman and how his regime is working to rise to power once again, becoming one of Earth’s greatest threats.
In the trailer we see the driving force of Superman’s conquest is his pursuit for truth and justice, but how far is he willing to go to attain it? In his new world order there is no place for choice or freedom; that every misdeed is heavily punishable and that the fight against crime is never over. Slowly we start seeing the alliances that are forming and which side each hero is choosing. Honestly, I’m quite surprised with how the split is tearing some allies apart; it would appear that some heroes truly feel the same way as Superman.
Developed by the award-winning NetherRealm Studios, Injustice 2 features a stellar roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains and allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favourite DC characters. The game will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Australia on the 17th of May 2017. It’s also available for pre-order currently with exclusive additional content, including additional character skins, and super-villain Darkseid.
