Read a little nightmare before bed!
Little Nightmares is a much-anticipated puzzle platform game from Bandai Namco that has many of the Checkpoint team (including myself) eagerly awaiting its April 28 release date.
Titan Comics are set to release a four-issue comic book mini-series to coincide with the game launch.
“As an entertainment company our vision is to go beyond our games and use several formats such as comic books to tell great stories.” said Hervé Hoerdt (Vice President of Marketing & Digital, Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe). “With these comics, fans will be able to dive deeper into the vast universe of Little Nightmares and learn more about events connected to the game and beyond.”
The comic series will follow the game’s storyline of the little girl ‘Six’ who is trying to escape The Maw, a mysterious vessel filled with corrupt and hungry souls.
Little Nightmares issue #1 is being written by Alex Paknadel (Arcadia, Assassin’s Creed: Uprising) and Dan Watters (Limbo, Assassin’s Creed: Uprising) with amazing and gorgeously dark artwork by Aaron Alexovich (Serenity Rose, Fables, Invader Zim animated series) and colour by Thiago Ribeiro (Doctor Who: Ghost Stories).
